Cards Sign Matt Clement
The Cards have signed former Bosox pitcher Matt Clement to a one-year deal. Clement had shoulder surgery and sat out last season. This could be just another Dave Duncan reclamation project, but if Clement can bounce back from surgery, he would be a strong addition to the rotation. It’s nice to see the team making a move to address its pitching inadequacies, that’s fer sure. Welcome aboard, Matt!
